Do you offer guarantees?

We stand behind all our cooling, heating, insulation, and duct cleaning services with our Golden Guarantees. This includes a lifetime replacement guarantee, a "no lemon" replacement guarantee, and a one year "test drive" guarantee-if you're unhappy with your installation and we can't fix it, we'll remove the system and refund 100% of your original investment at any time during the first year.

How often should I have regular maintenance?

We recommend your cooling and heating system have professional maintenance done annually. The cooling system should be checked in spring, and the heating system in winter. Our long-term maintenance plans will see you always are caught up on maintenance needs.

How often should I change my air filter?

This depends on the strength of the filters. If you use simple panel filters, we recommend you check on it monthly to see if it's congested. For pleated polyester filters, it usually takes about three months before they need a replacement. Our service professionals will change the filter during their visit, and they can provide you specifics based on the filter and how much your system works.

Are gas furnaces dangerous?

Any appliance that runs from natural gas has the potential to create health hazards due to leaking combustion gases or sudden combustion hazards. However, modern gas furnaces are manufactured with extensive safety precautions and rarely create hazardous conditions. Regular maintenance further lowers the potential danger. (Make sure to have carbon monoxide detectors in your house if you use natural gas in any capacity.)

Is there a best option for home cooling and heating?

Because every home is different and people have a range of individual comfort levels, there's no single "best" system to match all homes. Otherwise, that would be the only system we install! There is a best system for your specific needs, and it's our job to find it.

Do you only offer repairs and maintenance for equipment you installed?

No, we're glad to take care of work on all makes and models of HVAC equipment, regardless of who originally installed them. If your previous contractor left you unsatisfied, we're glad to take up the task and see that you're happy.

AirSouth Office Team

If I was rating their installation on a basis 1-10, theirs would be 11. They are very efficient and cordial, work quality is very good, and they are gentlemen.

- Haskel Hood

AirSouth Cooling and Heating was recommended to me about two years ago when my wife and I relocated to Mississippi.

- Dennis Ballinger

They were very professional, and took their time to protect every thing so nothing would be broken.

- Andy Breaux

James, I wanted to let you how much we appreciate the time and effort you spent with us explaining and answering questions about our new A/C installation.
