The blower is the fan that blows heated air through the ductwork. Without the blower, the air won\u2019t go anywhere! That can definitely create airflow issues and feel as if your furnace isn\u2019t working.<\/p>\n
The blower is nothing more than a motor with a fan blade. That motor can burn out either through being defective, through age, or if there\u2019s some kind of obstruction weighing it down. Luckily, this is isn\u2019t a difficult part to replace.<\/p>\n
If none of the above has managed to help remedy your airflow issues, then it might simply be time to replace your furnace. Older furnaces will struggle to keep up with their efficiency promises and that can mean a loss of airflow.<\/p>\n
